Oh, I couldn't love you in the morning
Cause I hadn't woken up
But I rose and had my coffee
I tried to love you in the midday sun
I tried to love you in the midday sun
I searched the place all over
And you were nowhere to be found
My love has lost its home in you
So I guess I must be bound
Oh, I guess I must be bound
You and I were too damn good to last
Sharing strength in our sorrows
We were haunted by our pasts
You and I, we had a perfect plan
But the burning passion turned to fire
And we succumbed just as quick as we began
I've done some self-reflection
And I've done some work, my dear
I've let go my attachments
But I'm holding on to fear
Oh, I'm holding on to fear
So fare thee well to anger
Fare thee well, my love
I couldn't love you in the sunlight
Cause my shadows hung above
My shadows hung above
I've run away all my life
I've given up when I had the chance to grow
The old shall fall
The new shall rise
And out of darkness
Will come new hope
Holy Locust goes dark. This album has a desperate feel yet the urge to push ahead is always there. They somewhat push away from the folk feel to a more traditional classical music feel at times. I'm looking forward to seeing them live again, and after that I'm betting I'll come to conclude this is the best release by Holy Locust to date. Bart
fell into Days n' Daze when I was travelling, thanks to some of my road dogs. I don't have that freedom anymore but I feel a piece of it Everytime I listen to their music. love y'all! thefool309
All of Pat the Bunny's music is worth checking out. I have a lot of memories tied to these songs. He's an incredibly talented artist and hugely inspiring. Listen to his older music too! stevenrf7
