I don't need much, I just want a love
We can build a little cabin in the woods while we're young
It's a goddamn shame that this world is so lost
It's a hundred thousand dollars just to live on a bus
And the food we eat's from a whole different world
The water's getting muddied by the ridge
There's grocery stores where there ought to be fields
We could grow everything that we need instead
We could chop wood and carry water
Build a new world all our own
I'd feel less alone by myself in a forest
than a room full of people on their phones
So give us not this day our daily bread
Let us grow the wheat and cut it down ourselves
Because we don't need no handouts from above
or to sit around and wait for someone else
We could chop wood and carry water
Build a new world all our own
Because I'd feel less alone by myself in the forest
than a room full of people on their phones
I don't need much, I just want a love
We can build a little cabin in the woods while we're young

Holy Locust goes dark. This album has a desperate feel yet the urge to push ahead is always there. They somewhat push away from the folk feel to a more traditional classical music feel at times. I'm looking forward to seeing them live again, and after that I'm betting I'll come to conclude this is the best release by Holy Locust to date. Bart

All of Pat the Bunny's music is worth checking out. I have a lot of memories tied to these songs. He's an incredibly talented artist and hugely inspiring. Listen to his older music too! stevenrf7
